Metal Slug: Awakening (Global) is a 2D action and platform game which allows you to enjoy the adventures of one of the most famous run and gun game sagas from your Android device. This is not the first title in the Metal Slug franchise that is playable on mobile, but unlike the rest, it has been designed with a more mobile-oriented approach.

Choose your preferred controls

The first thing you can do when you start playing Metal Slug: Awakening (Global) is choose your preferred control system. There are two options: auto aim, which is the recommended option, or manual aiming, which will make the game more difficult. Regardless of the option you choose, by default the virtual movement stick will be on the left side of the screen and all action buttons will be located on the right side, allowing you to jump, shoot, throw grenades and activate specials.

Run, jump and shoot

As is typical of any game in the Metal Slug saga, in Metal Slug: Awakening (Global) you will face hundreds and hundreds of enemies of all kinds in huge 2D settings full of details. Fortunately, you will have an arsenal of different weapons to help you take out the enemy soldiers: pistols, machine guns, shotguns, flamethrowers, grenades, knives, lasers, and much more. The vehicles are another key element. One of the saga's main features is the ability to ride in tanks, on camels or in airplanes. And in this new adventure you can do this as well.

Unlock a cast of characters

When you start the game you will only have one character at your disposal, Marco Rossi, the saga's legendary protagonist. However, as you play and earn coins, you can unlock new characters. Fio, Tarma and Eri will be joined by more than a dozen new characters, some of them familiar faces from the saga. Each character will have their own attributes and statistics. Characters such as Trevor Spacey, Nadia Cassel or Ilum will allow you to inflict much more damage on your enemies.
